Overview
Our courses are divided into two semesters, 24 hours for one semester. Each semester, students will be assigned different tasks and topics. Students can enrol on the courses for two consecutive semesters or individual semester.
Who is it for?
This course aims to equip F.5 and F.6 students with the essential skills and language necessary for academic studies or the workplace. The course adopts a project-based approach with two topics selected per semester to suit students’ interests. It provides students with solid language skills by putting emphasis on the practical use of workplace English.

What will I learn?
Through working on business projects, students will be able to enhance their competency not only in English but also in critical thinking, researching and problem solving. A wide range of business related tasks and activities will be carried out to enhance student’s ability to communicate effectively in English.

Remarks
A Certificate of Attainment will be awarded by the Centre for Professional and Business of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University to students who attend 80% of classes and achieve satisfactory result in coursework.
