Helping support staff do their jobs well

These courses will help you do your job more quickly and more easily. You will learn how to give good service to customers and write clearly in English. You will be a more useful member of your team and get the results you want.

How will I improve?

You will enjoy ‘active-learning’ with people just like you. Each lesson will help you:
• be more confident in using English
• turn on English that you may not have used for a long time
• learn useful techniques which make emails and telephone calls more effective
• improve your grammar and vocabulary so that you can handle more workplace situations.

Courses in spoken English help you to:
• use the telephone well
• give good customer service
• describe your company’s products and services
• handle problems well
• build relationships in workplace and social situations
• present your ideas in meetings and discussions
• give short presentations.

Courses in written English help you to:
• think about who you are writing to and what they need from you
• decide which information to include and which order to give it in
• make the most important information easy to find by your reader
• use clear language with fewer grammar errors
• write emails and letters, short reports, proposals, and minutes
• get the results you want.

How are CPBE courses different?

When you study at CPBE your language and skills will last for a long time. Why? Well, there are two reasons for this:
1. You will do things in the lessons which are similar to the things you need to do at work. This means that you will be able to use your new skills at work immediately.
2. You will also be able to continue using our service after your course has finished. This means that you won’t forget what you learn!

Who will be my trainer?

To us, quality of teaching is everything. We are a leading centre for teacher training and we all have post-graduate qualifications in language training.

Your trainer will:
• be a native speaker or have native speaker proficiency
• have Hong Kong training experience
• have a professional or business background
• give you lots of feedback and suggestions of ways you can improve your English.
